Meet Donovan Schmidt

Donovan Schmidt started his career in an accounting firm at sixteen, in 2015. Since then he has worked alongside CPAs, enrolled agents and finance professionals, building a practical understanding of what it takes to keep a business organized, compliant and financially strong.

D&D Enterprises exists because most entrepreneurs did not start their business to manage spreadsheets or worry about payroll. Don's goal is simple: make the accounting and bookkeeping side stress-free so owners can focus on running and growing the business.

He delivers reliable, accurate and timely bookkeeping along with payroll, sales tax reporting, financial reporting, tax preparation, business filings and consulting. Clients describe him as organized, detail-focused and personable, and several have worked with him for years.

Where he works

Based in Camden, New Jersey, with in-person availability across Camden County and Philadelphia. Most of the work is remote, and clients across the country work with Don the same way local clients do.

Credentials and experience

Over ten years of hands-on accounting and bookkeeping experience, including years inside an accounting firm working with CPAs and enrolled agents. Don prepares and files tax returns for small businesses and their owners, and for clients who already have a CPA he delivers a complete, organized year-end package.
